County Climbing Event 2019

Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th November 2019 - Closing Date: Friday 8th November 2019

Venue: Newcastle Climbing Centre, 285 Shields Rd Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 2UQ

Belayers Needed:

We need belayers to support the event and following a planning meeting on Wednesday at the Centre we are asking for:

Any adult who is competent at belaying. They are invited to be assessed for a restricted permit for use at the Centre at the event.  Plus the evening will include the essential safety update and briefing.   

The date for this is Thursday 7th November 2019 @ 7pm in upstairs meeting room at the Climbing Centre.

Please book as a Group and payment is required to complete booking using Paypal or debit/credit card, the cost of the event is £5 per climber.

Bookings should be made in teams of six with a maximum of 12 young people per Section per Group. (Part team bookings are fine as the young people will just be added to another Group with part teams)

Bookings will be taken on a ‘first come first served basis’. This form will be open until Friday 8th November, or until all sessions have been fully booked.

This would be a non-uniform event – neckerchiefs should be worn but removed for climbing.
