Northumberland Scouts offers a variety of Activities that Young People, and Adults can do. From their Duke of Edinburgh Award to international adventures with their Explorer Belt.
This information is to help adults who have recently volunteered for a leadership role with Northumberland Scouts. It should guide you through your first steps on your training journey.
Activities are an integral part of Scouting, and what makes it so exciting for the young people involved. From here you should be able to find all the information you need to provide all the activities your young people can manage.

Activities funding opportunities
Funding is available from a number of sources to support scouting activities. If you are aware of any further opportunities for activities funding that you’d like promoted then please contact the activities office ([email protected]) with details.
Personal Development Funding: The King George VI Memorial Leadership Fund support adult members with their own personal development through adventurous activity training (this is a discretionary award, limited by available funds)
