Join us from Friday 23rd – Monday 26th May 2025for an action-packed fun weekend at our County camp, Camp Northumbria!

Taking place at Causey Park, near Morpeth, you’ll be able to take part in adventurous activities, try new things, learn Skills for Life and meet new friends from across the County.

We’ll be welcoming Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts to join us for a three-night camp. On Saturday 24th May we’ll be welcoming Squirrels and Beavers to join the fun, and Beaver Colonies are invited to book to stay overnight and take part in a second day of activities if they wish.

We welcome bookings from Scouts in nearby counties, as well as our colleagues in Girlguiding UK.

Costs and booking information

  • £75 for Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Guides and Rangers camping 3 nights.
  • £25 for Beavers camping overnight on the Saturday evening.
  • Details of day visit bookings for Squirrels and Beavers, will be advertised in the New Year. Cost £10 per young person.
  • £10 for adult volunteers / Young Leaders
  • As you’ll be aware, since our last County Camp, costs of items have increased and our costs for organising the camp have also gone up. To help members with the cost of the camp and offer the best value for everyone attending, we have decided to keep the camp fee for young people the same as our last camp, but we have removed the early bird booking fee reduction to allow us to achieve this.
  • Costs include a camp badge. Costs do not include catering or transport. Details of arrangements for drop-offs and pick-ups will be provided nearer the time, including details for groups arranging their own transport.

Bookings will open next week at www.northumberlandscouts.org.uk/camp-northumbria/ and this webpage will be updated soon.

The deadline for bookings including full payment is 1 April 2025.
