
We’re looking for adult volunteers to help support our Camp Northumbria team to deliver an exciting weekend camp for our young people!
If you’re skilled at site services, handy when it comes to building infrastructure, great at an adventurous activity, have a flair for crafts, or you’re just a really useful person, please complete our staff registration form:
We welcome adult volunteers from The Scout Association and Girlguiding UK. Opportunities are flexible and we’ve given an indication of the time commitment involved in each opportunity on the registration form.

Our programme team are looking for extra volunteers to help deliver activities during the camp. Opportunities are flexible and we’re looking for adults who can give as little as 1-2 hours or as much as a full day to help run an activity or activities. Activities will run on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th May (9.00am – 12.30pm and 1.30 – 5.00pm) and Monday 26th May (9.00am – 12.30pm). We also need help to supervise the evening activities (7.00 – 10.30pm). We’ll plan the activities for you and ensure you have the equipment you need – BUT if you ‘d like to get involved with the planning then please let us know on the form above.
Please note, volunteers with adventurous activities permits (such as archery, climbing or shooting) are being contacted directly about opportunities to support with the delivery of adventurous activities on site.
Our First Aid team are looking for some extra volunteers to support them during them the camp. Flexible volunteering, any time is valuable from 2 hrs to a full day.
You must have First Response as a minimum, ideally a higher qualification would be ideal, external qualifications will be considered.
The First Aid team are also looking for assistance with administrative tasks, including casualty notes, contacting emergency contacts, and assisting in providing treatment where needed and where you feel comfortable.
We’re looking to recruit a small team of volunteers to help cater for our camp staff. The team will be required to plan menus in advance of the camp, and provide catering for a small staff team throughout the weekend.
We’re looking for some extra volunteers to help our site infrastructure team with constructing and taking down the site. We mainly need volunteers who can be available on the days leading up to and after the camp, either for a half a day or a full day.
