We’re offering a residential opportunity for members working towards their King’s Scout Award or Gold DofE.
Volunteering as part of our camp service team for Camp Northumbria, you’ll have the opportunity to meet new people, work as part of a team and contribute to a large scale scouting event!
You can volunteer for up to five nights between Thursday 22 May until Tuesday 27 May. There is flexibility on the start date and end date as long as award requirements are met. For example you could choose to volunteer from the Thursday to the Monday, or from the Friday to the Tuesday if you’re unable to stay for the full experience.
This opportunity is open to any member working towards their King’s Scout Award or Gold DofE – you do not need to be from Northumberland Scouts to volunteer.
There may be a small cost to cover your catering. This opportunity is dependent on sufficient applications.
