We are pleased to hear that HM King Charles III has been named the new Patron of The Scouts.
Following a meeting of the UK Scout Council earlier this week, where council members adopted the new patron, we are proud and honored to welcome him.
In following the footsteps of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles III continues the tradition of the monarch serving as patron.
King Charles has been a long-standing supporter of the Scouts, from hosting Queen/King’s Scout Award holders at Windsor, visiting various groups and walking through the Scout guard of honour at the Cenotaph.
